1. Position: Specialist Occupational Health – OQGN (Muscat)
Department: HSE – HSE Support
Job Level: Level 7
Reports to: Manager HSE Support
Location: Oman
Language: English & Arabic preferred
Experience: 4–5 years in Occupational Health, preferably in oil & gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement health risk assessments and surveillance programs (e.g., audiometry, respiratory).
- Monitor hygiene conditions and ensure compliance with OPAL and OSHA/WHO standards.
- Support fitness-for-work evaluations and occupational health incident investigations.
- Organize training on emergency response and lead wellness programs (e.g., mental health, nutrition).
- Manage records, ensure compliance with Omani labor laws, and represent OQGN in health forums.
2. Position: Sr Operator Asset – OQGN (Salalah)
Department: Operations and Maintenance
Job Level: Level 8
Reports to: Supervisor Operations
Location: Oman
Language: English & Arabic preferred
Experience: 3–5 years in O&M, preferably in oil & gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate facilities to ensure availability and compliance with HSSE standards.
- Conduct field inspections, log data, and support maintenance shutdowns/startups.
- Manage operational processes including chemical dosing, gas flow, and emergency support.
- Prepare operational reports, perform routine checks, and participate in emergency drills.
- Ensure all procedures are in compliance with permits and corporate safety guidelines.
3. Position: Sr Technician Mechanical – OQGN (Sohar)
Department: Operations and Maintenance
Job Level: Level 8
Reports to: Supervisor Mechanical
Location: Oman
Language: English & Arabic preferred
Experience: 3–5 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical maintenance for static and rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, valves).
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance using SAP and technical procedures.
- Manage turnarounds, shutdowns, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Conduct engineering studies, Root Cause Analysis, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in reliability improvement initiatives and review maintenance performance.
4. Position: Principal Pipeline & Piping – OQGN (Oman)
Department: Engineering – Project Delivery
Job Level: Level 4
Reports to: Manager Engineering
Location: Oman
Language: English & Arabic preferred
Experience: 12–14 years in pipeline/piping/mechanical engineering, preferably in oil & gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pipeline and piping design across multiple projects, ensuring safety and technical compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding engineering strategy and supervising project deliverables.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee construction support, commissioning, and handover of pipeline systems.
- Lead pipeline innovation, performance improvement, and technical training for junior engineers.
5. Position: Sr Technician Electrical – OQGN (Salalah)
Department: Operations and Maintenance
Job Level: Level 8
Reports to: Supervisor Electrical
Location: Salalah, Oman
Language: English & Arabic preferred
Experience: 3–5 years in electrical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical systems and ensure continuous power to facilities and substations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, motors, transformers, CP systems, etc.
- Manage LOTO, work permits, and emergency coordination procedures.
- Diagnose faults using electrical testing tools and ensure CMMS data is up to date.
- Support junior technicians and contribute to the development of technical documentation and maintenance strategies.
